Waves Crashing on Lava Cliffs
from the Natural Landscape series
The lava cliffs along Poipu Point are always a favorite place to walk, and sit and watch the waves as they roll in from across the southern Pacific Ocean. Small plants take root in the lava contrasting the green of their leaves with the black of the lava and the red dirt of Kauai.
