Going Fishing on the Outer Reef
from the Natural Landscape series
This pair of fishermen, photographed in Panama by artist Joe MacKechnie, brought back a memory of another photo of fishermen in Haiti. The knowledge and skills required to fish around the reefs with their breaking waves and currents is amazing, and passes down through the generations in each location.
